Joe Hamilton Elementary School students recently engaged in our inaugural Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest, facilitated by the Crescent City Police Department.

The poster contest within Joe Hamilton Elementary School classrooms fostered creativity and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of promoting drug-free choices.

City Manager Eric Wier and Superintendent Jeff Harris, in conjunction with officers from the Crescent City Police Department, participated in selecting two outstanding winners.

The victorious classes were celebrated with a pizza party, while teachers received Starbucks gift cards, generously sponsored by the Crescent City Police Officer Association
