Welcome to Joe Hamilton Elementary!

Four years have flown by since I first introduced myself to you on this page.

Twenty-one years ago, I started out as a substitute teacher for the Natomas School District in Sacramento. From sub to intern teacher, to teacher in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District in the Bay Area, to assistant principal, to Principal of Fairfield High School, then to Del Norte Unified, where I’m starting my 5th year as Principal of Joe Hamilton Elementary.

Joe Hamilton has a phenomenal team of teachers and support staff! Every single team member, whether full-time or part-time, or whether a district employee, contracted support, certificated or classified substitute, or volunteer is committed to supporting your student in their academic achievement. Their efforts have paid off, as Joe Hamilton Elementary has made gains in every single measure of student achievement! 

I try to be out on campus and in classrooms as much as possible, but you can always set up a time to meet with me by calling Chelsea and Rose in the front office. I'm looking forward to meeting you and working with you to support every student in growing and learning.
